Jeff Pomeroy is a 20-year sports and entertainment PR veteran and President of JDP Communications, a full-service Atlanta-based Boutique PR Sports & Entertainment firm. He brings with him extensive experience garnering national, regional and local television, radio and print press for the personalities he has represented in a variety of sports. That roster includes Marv Albert, Oksana Baiul, Charles Barkley, Dennis Eckersley, Ian Baker-Finch, Marion Jones, Michael Johnson, Cheryl Miller, Reggie Miller, Kyle Petty, Kenny Smith, John Smoltz and David Wells, among others.


Prior to starting his own firm Pomeroy served as senior director of public relations for Turner Sports, where he oversaw the day-to-day operations for the division’s extensive linear and digital assets. The division’s marquee properties included televised coverage of the NBA, NCAA, MLB, NASCAR and professional golf across networks TNT, TBS and truTV, and online assets NASCAR.COM, PGATour.COM, PGA.com, Golf.com, NBA Digital (NBA TV, NBA.com, WNBA.com, NBA League Pass Broadband), NCAA Digital (NCAA.com, March Madness On Demand, NCAA Mobile), SI.com, TBS Hot Corner on MLB.com and TNT Overtime on NBA.com.

During his 12-years at Turner Sports, Pomeroy worked in conjunction with fellow senior executives in production, marketing, ad sales, legal, new media and talent relations to identify prepare and execute comprehensive promotional plans to best position and maximize their efforts and those of the brands they represented. He also served as a spokesman and advisor on key issues impacting Turner Sports, including crisis communications, and developed, planned and implemented strategic media communications that best maximized promotional effectiveness through traditional and non-traditional forms of print, online, broadcast and social media.

Pomeroy lives in Dunwoody, Georgia with his wife, Andrea, and their three children; Ben, Sofia and Sydney.
